Andrew is a certified stage combat instructor with The Society of American Fight Directors and has taught classes in Kentucky, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina and Louisiana. Andrew travels the US teaching stage combat and movement performance. In his class Andrew teaches based on the guidelines of the Society of American Fight Directors giving the actors a safe environment to physically interact with one another reaching a deeper level of communication. This allows the actor to perform stage combat with a deep sense of realistic intention that pushes the audience's expectation but is safe and under control. Andrew pushes to force the actor out of their head and into their body so that fight choreography and movement in general becomes second nature and the actor can fully live with in a violent moment safely.
